Traditional Latin Mass in the Grotto - The Pastor's 7:30am Mass

The scene this morning was hauntingly beautiful as the early morning sun beamed brightly through the trees. This was taken moments before Mass began.

Fr. Eduard Perrone, Grotto's pastor, has celebrated his 7:30am weekday Masses outdoors at the altar built within the shrine out in our cemetary. He continued this practice with the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite (Traditional Latin Mass or TLM) this summer.

Prior to that photo above, I took some others as I waited for Mass to begin. I had gone to the 6:30am Mass and thought I would get a few shots off while this outdoor Mass is still taking place.

Te Deum Laudamus! Home
